I was not sure how to call it but how can you generate and use codes as in these topics?

and then paste into an open fractal (any formula will do)

If you have a fractal you want to share with us,all you do is right click on your fractal,copy and then paste directly into a topic box in Fracfan

Hi Sushy,

Just open UF and when the default fractal opens right-click on it and choose "paste" Smile

That doesn't work. When I right-click on it, it just does nothing and when I right-click on it two times it just zooms out the fractal.

That only happens to me if I use the opposite buttons on the mouse.
Have you got your mouse set up differently, or at least different to most users?

You are able to copy and paste by using the edit button (top of the screen,second from the left) and selecting copy/paste

Well I can paste the text in word but Ultra Fractal doesn't seem to support pasting such a code at a fractal. ctrl+V doesn't work either. I have version 2.05. Maybe that has to do with it?

We could be at cross purposes here.
Version 2.05 is an old version of UF and Im afraid I dont know much about that particular one.I didn't start until ver 3.05
It may be a good Idea to download either the 3.05 or even the animation version to see if that makes a difference.
Please note that you will get "copy " embedded into your image if you render it and wont be suitable for general viewing, and you are unable to purchase the old versions now,they are only there for people to reinstall paid for versions

You aren't trying to paste the Ultra Fractal parms into Apophysis 2.05, are you? Because that won't work either...

I'm not being "smart" - just verifying that we are talking about the right programs.

UF 2.05 is very old, we cant help you with it, I have even never seen a 2.05 Confused

There is a helpfile included I guess, can't you find it there Question
