Well, word is out...the DA UF chat room is up and running close to full speed. We're open to all for facts, fun, information for UF lovers old and new, experienced or simply curious. If you haven't dropped in yet, hopefully you will soon. Of course we have our down times, but mid-late afternoons est, and evenings are almost always guaranteed to have a lively and fun group of people doing parameter exchanges, looking for or providing help, and just encouraging each other. You never know when Janet will pop in, or Panny or FireLily, or any of the lively band of artists who inspire us.

That leads to the great news. Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 21 at 2 pm central time... the chat room is hosting our first UF Meet and Greet, with guest of honor FireLilyFractals. http://firelilyfractals.deviantart.com/ (MaryThornton to some of you). Come meet one of the supreme UF artists, ask some questions, get some hints, and get to know this lovely and talented lady.

Well done for all your efforts with this!

Tell me: does dA chat work better than the main site? I'm serious, the site is just about unusable at the moment and I've given up on it for now until it gets a bit better.

The site has been really stubborn since last night, but no problem with chat. Maybe they're busy fixing it. I haven't had any complaints about the chat room...there is an occasional disconnect for some people, but generally its pretty reliable.
