CabinTom at DeviantArt has finally released his Technica scripts!

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/59018844/

I threw him my basic little scripts and asked nicely if he could improve upon them for us... he's done a great job I reckon!

Enjoy!

They are VERY addicting and FUN!!

I'm trying to figure out the "Julia" one..er...tame it a bit. In that it gives wonderful varieties, but I'm wanting the 'tight' shape. Probably includes tweaking the 'variables' a bit too.

The "tightness" is linked to the Disc transform (transform #1 in these scripts) - make it smaller, rotate it a bit, play with it's weight, etc...

Thank you for that tip. In your script, I changed the Spherical final transform to Julian and got a nice result. Very Happy Going to play with Tom's version more when I get done with this render. Weight makes a HUGE difference. I keep forgetting to tweak it on most flames lol

Thank you so much for your help, and for these scripts and tips. It is most certainly an experience I'm learning a lot from. I love it, it feels like a Very Fractal Christmas LOL

Try adding a VERY small amount of Sinusoidal (0.005) or other variations to the Julian/Juliascope transform (#2) for some nice effects too...
